- 3/4 c fresh blackberries (110g)
- 3/4 c fresh raspberries (90g)
- 3/4 c fresh blueberries (110g)
- 2 T Sugar - granulated (27g)
- 1 c Flour - plain (125g)
- 3/4 c Sugar - brown (165g)
- 1/2 t ground cinnamon (1.3g; 2.5mL)
- 1/4 t ground nutmeg (0.5g; 1.25mL)
- 3/4 c butter (170g)
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 F / 175 C / Gas 4.
- In a large bowl, gently toss together berries and white sugar; set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press half of mixture in the bottom of a deep pie pan. Cover with berries. Sprinkle remaining crumble mixture over the berries.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until fruit is bubbly and topping is golden brown.
Notes
The types of berries aren't set in stone: do it with whatever berries you like, that are on sale, or in season, etc. Just get about the same total amount and you'll be fine. If you choose larger berries (like strawberries), you'll probably want to cut them up a bit.
