Pork Chops with Mushroom Sauce
- 2 boneless pork chops
- 5 oz cream of mushroom soup, homemade
- 3 fl oz white wine
- 100 g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 T arrowroot
- 1 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 t beef bouillon
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 t dried thyme
Place pork chops in slow cooker.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over pork chops.
Cook on Low 8-10 hours, or on High 4 1/2 - 5 hours.
Serve over rice.
SJ Note 10 Dec 2011: This was really easy to make. The flavor was really good - no salt or pepper needed at the table! However, the pork came out quite dry for my taste, despite brining it first. I'm not sure what to do to combat that, besides adding lots of gravy.
