Ingredients

  • 1 shredded cabbage (small head)
  • 3/4 c chopped onion
  • 1 chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 shredded carrot (small)
  • 1/2 c cider vinegar
  • 3 T Sugar (Granulated)
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t ground pepper
  • 1/2 c vegetable oil

Method

In a large salad bowl, place the cabbage, onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper and carrot. Combine the vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and vegetable oil in the bowl with the vegetables. Toss the mixture until the vegetables are fully coated with the marinade.

 

If you have time, let marinade several hours or overnight before serving.
