Notes
SJ Note 1 October 2009: This was good! It originally calls for 1 T cayenne and 1 T chili powder, which I pared down to 1/2 t of each originally; didn't have enough kick, so I upped it. Before doing that, Chris added some Tabasco Chipotle to his, and it was nice. It was too liquidy, though (even after a few hours of simmering), so I've changed the 3 cups chicken broth for 1.5 cups double-strength chicken broth. I left out the liquid smoke, of course. The yield needs a bit of adjusting; I still didn't get it as thick as I'd like, so I'll have to check that the next time I make this. A good sauce, though!
