- 100 g Sugar (Granulated) (1/2 cup)
- 1/3 c cocoa powder
- 3 T Corn Starch / Corn Flour
- 2 c milk
- 2 t vanilla extract
- 1 t butter (optional)
In a saucepot, mix together the dry ingredients. Add the milk and, stirring constantly, cook on medium heat until boiling. Add vanilla. Remove from heat. If desired, add butter and continue stirring until it melts.
* Adding the butter gives the pudding a richer taste and a pretty gloss.
* You can make other flavors by adjusting the flavoring: leave out the cocoa for vanilla pudding; add lemon extract for lemon pudding, etc.
