Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1/3 c boiling water
- 43 g butter (softened)
- 2/3 c Sugar (Castor) (or granulated)
- 1/2 t vanilla extract
- 1 c dry skim milk powder
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor; mix until completely smooth and combined.
Cool to room temperature (the mixture will thicken even more upon standing).
If not using right away, transfer to an airtight container, and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Use as you would in any recipe calling for sweetened condensed milk.
