Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 3 T maple syrup (up to 4 T)
  • 2 T chopped walnuts

Method

Combine all ingredients and mix well.

SJ Note 6 April 2010: After reading the rave review of this on willowbirdbaking, I had to give it a try.  We had this with a granary baton.  I mixed it together using an electric hand held mixer, which gave a nice fluffiness to the cream cheese, of course.  I had to omit the nuts because of Chris, so we really were trying maple cream cheese spread.  It didn't do much for us, sadly.  I added some nuts to the remainder, just folded them in with a spatula, and I'll come back to update after I try that.
