- 1/2 c oil
- 1/2 c shortening (room temperature)
- 1/2 c Flour (Plain) (or cocoa powder)
Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat until mixture has increased in volume slightly and resembles marshmallow cream.
Place in a container with a lid and store in the refrigerator.
Notes from source: The mixture tends to separate slightly upon sitting so mix before using, then brush pans using a pastry brush or a clean paper towel. You can use any blend for the third ingredient, from 1/2 cup flour through 1/4 cup flour & 1/4 cup cocoa powder to 1/2 cup cocoa powder.
