Beef Kebab Marinade
- beef (of choice, recommended round or chuck, cut into 1.5" cubes)
- 2/3 c vegetable oil
- 1/2 c Vinegar (Cider)
- 3 cloves crushed garlic
- 1 t Salt (Table)
- 1/4 t freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 c soy sauce
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T dry mustard
Combine ingredients in a bowl or a resealable plastic bag; marinade.
Remove beef, thread on skewers with vegetables, discard marinade. Grill until cooked.
SJ Note 10 May 2014: The beef had good flavor; this is a keeper. I baked it in the oven instead of grilling/broiling it, because the side needed baking. It was okay, just dry. If I do that again, try putting some water in the bottom of the grill pan (which has a rack in it to keep the meat above the water) and then covering it with foil to see if it comes out any moister. Otherwise, quicker cooking would undoubtedly help. It took about 20 minutes at 375F to cook through.
