- 1/2 lb top round (topside)
- flour
- oil
- 1/2 large onion, sliced (or green onions)
- 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 T red wine
- 1 t oregano
- 1 t thyme
- 1 t basil
- salt
- pepper
- 1 small tomato, sliced
Method
Cut meat in serving pieces. Flour and brown. Place meat in baking pan. Cover with layers of onion rings and pepper rings. Add red wine, herbs, salt, pepper, and tomato.
Cover and bake 325°F about 30 to 40 minutes, to desired doneness.
