Ingredients
- 1 c Sugar (Granulated)
- 113 g butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 bananas, mashed
- 3 T cream
- 1/2 c nuts (optional)
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 T hot water
- 2 c Flour (Plain)
Method
Dissolve the baking soda in the hot water. Mix all ingredients.
Bake at 325 for 60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
Makes 1 loaf* (fill dough 2/3 way); for double batch cook up to 90 minutes.
*Also makes FABULOUS muffins!
