Ingredients
- 2/3 lb roast beef or stewing meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 oz corn
- 5 oz green beans
- 5 oz frozen peas
- 400 g stewed tomatoes, broken up
- 1/3 large onion
- 2/3 c sliced carrots
- 1/4 c pearl barley
- 1.5 beef bouillon cubes
- tabasco hot sauce to taste
- 2/3 t salt
Method
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Do not drain vegetables.
Add water to fill slow cooker to within 3" of top.
Cover. Cook on Low 8 hours, or until meat is tender and vegetables are soft.
Notes
Maybe add pepper to this next time.
