- 120 g bread (cut into 1/2" cubes, preferably stale)
- 1 T olive oil
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1 T dried mixed herbs
- 2 T grated parmesan cheese
Pre-heat oven to 350F/Gas 4.
Put all ingredients in a zip-top bag. Seal and shake until all of the bread is coated.
Bake until toasted (usually about 16-18 minutes for me), removing halfway through to mix up (best done by hand) to ensure even toasting on all sides.
I have yet to make this with sourdough bread, we haven't had any made to do so. It comes out fantastic with white sandwich bread.
