- 94 g Flour (Plain)
- 94 g Flour (Wholemeal)
- 175 g granulated sugar
- 1 t cinnamon
- 3/8 t table salt
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 egg
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 120 g applesauce
- 30 mL canola oil
- 1 grated apples
- 1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)
Method
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150C). In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients until well blended. Pour batter into 2 one-pound lined loaf pans. Bake for about 1hr 10-20min.
Can also make 1 two-pound loaf: bake for about 1hr 30-40min.
Can also make about 9 muffins: bake for about 40min.
