Ingredients
- 1/2 c water
- 1/2 c sugar (110g)
- 2 t dried lavender flowers
Method
Bring the sugar and water to a boil.
Reduce heat to low.
Add lavender.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Turn off heat, and cool completely.
Strain the lavender out of the syrup.
Apply to baked and cooled cake before frosting it.
